
SNAPP allows users to visualize the network of interactions resulting from discussion forum posts and replies within Learning Management Systems. The network visualisations of forum interactions provide an opportunity for facilitators to rapidly identify patterns of student behaviour – at any stage of course progression. SNAPP has been developed by CEIT, for the "Seeing Networks" ALTC Grant.

MobilAP is a web-based, platform for creating interactive conference and classroom experiences. It contains features like question/response, discussion, link sharing and scheduling. The cornerstone of the project is a Mobile Safari based front end that has an optimized experience for users of the iPhone and iPod touch.
CEIT has implemented a MobilAP service as part of CEIT's web services suite. Some localisation for the Australian context is also being undertaken.

The Sports Medicine Video Sharing project is building a collaborative video sharing web application.
Students in the subjects SPMD7003 Upper Limb, Head, Neck and Trunk Sport Injuries and SPMD7004 Lower Limb and Lumbar Region Injuries in Sport Medicine are creating video records of injury examinations as part of the subject assessment. A video sharing web site allows them to submit the videos and collaboratively assess each others examinations.

The CEIT Web Presence project is building a multifunctional dynamic web site using the drupal opensource content management system. The drupal site will host the communities which are engaged in each of the CEIT projects and project the CEIT vision to the sites visitors.

The Spoken Media project is a joint project between CEIT, the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and the Office of Educational Innovation and Technology (OEIT) also at MIT to develop a workflow based Lecture Transcription Service based on CSAIL's Spoken Lecture system.

The iLabs Architecture and Development Joint Project expands CEIT's role in the multinational iLabs project, developed at Centre for Educational Computer Initiatives (CECI) at MIT, to extend iLabs capabilities at UQ and contribute to ongoing iLabs architecture and development.
